The Perfect Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Turn the burner on high heat, and set the pan on the burner.

Spread the butter evenly over one side of each slide of bread, and prepare the cheese for quick sandwich-making.

Test the pan by flicking small droplets on water. Once they sizzle, turn the heat on the burner down by half.

Quickly lay one slice of bread onto the pan, buttered-side down, then the two slices of cheese, then the other slice of bread, buttered-side up.

Wait half a minute, then delicately flip the sandwich over in the pan.

Wait around two minutes, then flip again.

Wait another two minutes, then flip again. Keep flipping until it reaches the desired level of brown.

Cut in half, serve, and enjoy!
